Directions
The Herons sits at Sinclair's Bay, Keiss, Caithness — on Scotland's far north-east coast. Here's how to find us, however you're travelling.
From Inverness (A9/A99)
Follow the A9/A99 to Wick. At the roundabout (at the hospital) continue straight across the bridge. Turn left at the traffic lights and head north past Tesco. After approximately 3 miles, turn right toward John o' Groats on the A99. After about 8 miles, just before Keiss, pass the “Keiss Beach” sign and take the next single track road on the right. Look for the small “The Herons” sign.
From the North
From John o' Groats, follow the A99 south through Keiss village. On leaving the village, take the second small single track road to the left. The cottage is at the end, facing the sea.
By Air & Rail
Wick Airport has daily flights from Edinburgh and Aberdeen. Wick also has a railway station with services from Inverness.
